For Hilbert-Schmidt operators $A$ and $B$, the Hilbert-Schmidt inner product is $⟨A,B{⟩}_{\mathrm{HS}}=\mathrm{tr}(A^{\ast }B)$. Its induced norm is the Hilbert-Schmidt norm.
