Section 4.2 covers the vector ferromagnet; §4.3, printed pp.10–13, develops the nematic tensor, rotational invariants and discontinuous transition. The tensor and coefficient normalization differs from $S=Q(3\mathbf{n}{\mathbf{n}}^{\mathsf{T}}-I)$ and must be translated explicitly.
