The root system of the complex special linear Lie algebra sl6(C) is {ei−ej:1≤i=j≤6} in ∑ixi=0. Its simple roots ei−ei+1 give a five-node An Dynkin diagram. The defining fundamental representation has six weights wi=ei−61∑jej. The dual representation has weights −wi, and the two-index antisymmetric representation has fifteen weights wi+wj, i<j, all with weight multiplicity one.
