The barycentric subdivision of a tetrahedron has f-vector
(f0,f1,f2,f3)=(15,50,60,24).
(1)
Its two-skeleton therefore has Euler characteristic 15−50+60=25 and homology H0≅Z, H1=0, and H2≅Z24.
