For a massive real scalar with one internal degree of freedom with x=m/Tϕ≫1, fixed separately conserved visible and dark entropy ratio ξ, and relativistic visible bath with entropy degrees of freedom g∗sSM,
TϕTγ∼[2π2(2π)3/245]1/3(g∗sSMξ)1/3x5/6e−x/3.

Indeed, equate sSM=(2π2/45)g∗sSMTγ3 to ξsϕ and use nonrelativistic entropy at zero chemical potential. For g internal states the right side gains g1/3. The nonrelativistic species cannot be assigned a constant relativistic entropy count.
