The conformal Friedmann equation is H2=H02[Ωm/a+1−Ωm]. Differentiating and using a′=aH eliminates the matter term and yields a first-order Riccati equation. The expanding Big-Bang branch for 0<Ωm<1 has H=αcoth(ατ/2).
