Suppose Tλ are contractions of one complete metric space with a common constant k<1, and Tλx depends continuously on λ for each fixed x. Their fixed points xλ depend continuously on λ, because for a fixed parameter λ0,
d(xλ,xλ0)≤1−kd(Tλxλ0,Tλ0xλ0).
