With simple roots αi=εi−εi+1 for i<n and αn=εn−1+εn, the fundamental weights are ωi=ε1+⋯+εi for i≤n−2, followed by ωn−1=(ε1+⋯+εn−1−εn)/2 and ωn=(ε1+⋯+εn)/2. All roots have squared length two, so their pairings with coroots verify the dual-basis identities. The last two weights are the half-spin highest weights; for n=2, the defining highest weight is ω1+ω2.
