If f(x,y)=0 has a smooth projective completion of degree d and fy​=0, then its holomorphic differentials have basis
xiyjfy​dx​,i,j≥0,i+j≤d−3.

The equality fx​dx+fy​dy=0 gives the equivalent expressions −xiyjdy/fx​.
