For 0<ω2<κ2, set S=kHω/κ2−ω2. Even-pressure modes satisfy ω2=−Ωz2StanS, while odd-pressure modes satisfy ω2=Ωz2ScotS. In the case Ωz>κ>0, the branches approach κ as kH→0. For each fixed vertical order n≥1 and large kH, S→nπ/2 and ω∼κnπ/(2kH). Even orders have even pressure and odd orders odd pressure. The limiting boundary condition is zero normal derivative of pressure at both interfaces.
