For a parabolic profile u(s)=Umax(1−s2/a2) in a pipe of radius a, the mean speed is Umax/2 and Pkin=21ρ∫u3dA=πρa2Umax3/8. With pressure drop Δp over length ℓ and kinematic viscosity ν, Umax=Δpa2/(4ρνℓ), so Pkin=πΔp3a8/(512ρ2ν3ℓ3). This is not the pressure-work dissipation ΔpQ.
