For w(x)=xae−x on [0,∞), a>−1, the monic Generalized Laguerre polynomials have squared norms hj=j!Γ(j+a+1). The corresponding orthogonal polynomial projection kernel is (xy)a/2e−(x+y)/2∑j=0m−1j!Lj(a)(x)Lj(a)(y)/Γ(j+a+1) for nonnegative x,y, and zero otherwise.
