The left radical is {v∈V:B(v,w)=0 for every w∈V}. If A is the matrix of a bilinear form, this condition is vTA=0, so its coordinate vectors form kerAT. For A=(0010), the bilinear form B(v,w)=v1w2 has left radical span{(0,1)}.
