Given Lubin–Tate series f,g for π and a linear form L=∑ai​Xi​, there is a unique power series F≡L modulo terms of degree two satisfying
f(F(X1​,…,Xn​))=F(g(X1​),…,g(Xn​)).

Comparison degree by degree determines each homogeneous term; the Lubin–Tate congruences provide the required divisibility by π.
