For positive kinetic coefficient ζ in L0=ζ(∂μϕ∗∂μϕ−m2ϕ∗ϕ), the canonical momentum is πϕ=ζϕ˙∗. Positive-energy oscillator modes with unit oscillator commutators have amplitude 1/2ζEp. The mixed time-ordered propagator is C=ζ−1DF, with DF the ordinary scalar propagator. This also follows by inverting the quadratic form in the path integral. Rescaling ϕ changes interaction coefficients as well as external correlation-function factors.
