For an Eisenhart-Duval lift, reduction along the null isometry fixes a nonzero conserved pu=t′ and projects geodesics to (t,x). One never divides by guu=0. When E=−∇U and ∇×A=B, the reduced equation is x¨=E+2B×x˙. Every trajectory admits a null lift by choosing u˙=U+2A⋅x˙−21∣x˙∣2.
