For the driven two-state rotary motor with a triangular bound potential of height U0, the torque scale is T0=U0/π. Differentiating the phase-averaged torque gives T′(s)=T0[2PA(s)−1]/π. The decreasing crossing of PA=1/2 therefore gives smax=ln(2α)/β and Tmax=T0lncosh(πβ/2)/(πβ). The slow-speed limit is T0/2; the fast-speed limit vanishes as T0πk0/(8ω).
