The pole-subtracted theta integral for the completed zeta function bounds the Riemann xi function on ∣s∣≤R by a polynomial in R times ∫1∞e−πtt(R+1)/2dt. The Stirling formula gives logarithmic growth O(RlogR). On the positive real axis, the definition and ζ(R)≥1 give logξ(R)=2RlogR+O(R). Thus its order of an entire function is exactly one.
