The property of loving at least one person is the antecedent:
∀x[(∃yL(x,y))→L(x,ℓ)].
(1)
An equivalent first-order sentence, useful for Skolemization, is ∀x∀y[L(x,y)→L(x,ℓ)]. The person loved in the antecedent need not be Lucy; the conclusion concerns Lucy specifically.
