The Maclaurin series of the exponential function and sine give
ex2=1+x2+2x4+6x6+O(x8),xsinx=x2−6x4+120x6+O(x8).

Both the numerator and denominator first become nonzero at order x4. Dividing by that common power gives the limit
x→0limxsinx−x21+x2−ex2=x→0lim−1/6+O(x2)−1/2+O(x2)=3.
