The log odds ratio for treatment relative to control is the difference of the two log odds:
logθC​/(1−θC​)θT​/(1−θT​)​=(α+β/2)−(α−β/2)=β​.

Thus the treatment-to-control odds ratio is eβ. Its direction refers to whatever event the binomial count records.
