The vector triple product identity gives
b′×c′=V2(c×a)×(a×b)=V2Va=Va.
(1)
Eliminate V with iii to obtain the reciprocal basis involution:
a=a′⋅(b′×c′)b′×c′.
(2)
This formula actually holds without the unit-length assumptions. Under those assumptions it also says ∣b′×c′∣=1/∣V∣; normalizing this cross product alone would lose the sign of V and could return −a.
