On the real domain y>0, M=y(x2+lny) and N=x have My=x2+lny+1 and Nx=1, so this differential one-form is not exact. An integrating factor for a differential one-form is μ=1/y, which is nonzero on this domain. Multiplication gives
(x2+lny)dx+yxdy=d(3x3+xlny).
(1)
Hence the implicit solution is
3x3+xlny=C,y>0.
