For carrier number density n, charge q and effective mass m, the plasma frequency is ωp2=nq2/(ϵ0m). Combining the second London equation with the magnetostatic Ampère law and Gauss's law for magnetism gives ∇2B=(ωp2/c2)B. Therefore the decaying planar solution has length λL=c/ωp=m/(μ0nq2).
