For C={x:0≤x≤1, aTx=b}, the projection of y has coordinates xi​=min(1,max(0,yi​−νai​)), where the scalar multiplier ν is chosen so that aTx=b. Thus the projection reduces to a continuous one-dimensional root-finding problem.
