For ds2=(αx)2dt2−dx2 in a patch with x=0, the null paths solve dx/dt=±αx, giving x=Ce±αt with C=0. They are geodesics after choosing an affine parameter. The Rindler coordinates X=xcosh(αt), cT=xsinh(αt) give ds2=c2dT2−dX2 and X±cT=xe±αt. Thus each exponential path is a straight inertial null line. A literal x=0 curve is outside this degenerate coordinate chart, not an extra null geodesic within it.
