A local fermionic gauge symmetry shifting the gamma-trace part of the worldsheet gravitino, schematically δχμ=γμρ. Together with local worldsheet supersymmetry it permits the gravitino to be set to zero locally in superconformal gauge. Global spin structures and moduli still remain.
