Christopher R. Clough, Jared S. Silvia, Peter Müller and Christopher C. Cummins, Inorganica Chimica Acta 382 (2012), 195–198. Reports crystallographic characterization of the facial O-bound tricarbonyl anion. The isolated counterion in that work is PPN, so its yield and solubility should not be transferred to a sodium-salt preparation.
