 Osculating orbital element

An orbital element of the Kepler orbit having the same instantaneous position and velocity as a perturbed trajectory. Its elements vary as the perturbing force acts. Their interpretation depends on the central gravitational parameter used, for example whether static radiation pressure is included in the unperturbed attraction.
