 Positive predictive value

For a binary classifier, the conditional probability of the target condition given a positive classification. If its base rate is $p$, its true-positive probability is $s$, and its false-positive probability is $f$, Bayes' theorem gives $P(E\mid +)=sp/(sp+f(1-p))$. The denominator is positive whenever a positive classification can occur.
