 Smooth mechanical constraint

An ideal contact mechanical constraint supplying a normal reaction and no tangential friction. For a stationary constraining surface, the permitted velocity is a tangent vector, so the normal force has zero power and does no work. For a moving surface, normality alone does not imply zero power in the laboratory frame.
