For an independent sample from Uniform[−θ,θ], the maximum likelihood estimator is Mn=maxi∣Xi∣ and
n(θ−Mn)dExp(1/θ).

The parameter-dependent support makes the convergence rate n rather than n, so the regular maximum-likelihood central limit theorem does not apply.
