Hyperplane divisor ($H$)

A hyperplane divisor on projective space is the effective Cartier divisor cut out by one nonzero linear homogeneous polynomial. Its class generates $\mathrm{Cl}({\mathbb{P}}_k^n)\cong \mathbb{Z}$.
