Selecting a baryonic mass Mb from a normalized cumulative distribution Mb(<j)∝j fixes a cutoff specific angular momentum jd=(Mb/Mb,tot)jvir. With circular support and dominant enclosed baryonic gravity, the outer radius is rd≃jd2/(GMb) and speed vd≃GMb/jd. The mean specific angular momentum is jd/2, which defines a different one-zone radius. The estimate assumes energy dissipation but negligible redistribution of specific angular momentum.
