Uniform perpendicular fields with E2<c2B2 admit a subluminal Lorentz boost eliminating the electric field. A laboratory particle initially at rest follows a circle in the adapted frame and a stretched cycloid in the laboratory. The mean drift velocity is E×B/B2, while its laboratory kinetic energy is periodic rather than unbounded.
