An annulus with uniform surface charge density σ, radii a,b and rigid angular velocity Ω carries ring electric current dI=σΩrdr. The centre magnetic field of each ring is μ0dI/(2r) by the Biot-Savart law. Integrating gives B(0)=μ0σΩ(b−a)n^/2, equivalent to the title expression with Q=πσ(b2−a2). The oriented normal follows the positive rotation convention, with the sign of Q retained.
