Mass dimension ($[X]$)

In units with $\hslash =c=1$, the mass dimension $[X]$ is the exponent with which a quantity scales under a common rescaling of energies and momenta. In $d$ spacetime dimensions a Lagrangian density has mass dimension $d$.
