For m>0 and 0<Λ<Λ0, define
Ir=∫Λ<∣q∣<Λ0(2π)6d6q(q2+m2)−r=64π31∫ΛΛ0(q2+m2)rq5dq.
(1)
The radial formula uses the area π3 of the unit five-sphere. Its mass dimension is 6−2r. As Λ0→∞, I1 diverges quartically, I2 quadratically, I3 logarithmically, and Ir is ultraviolet finite for r≥4 at fixed Λ,m. This follows directly by comparison with q5−2r.
