If a neutral-current vertex has prefactor g/cosθW and chiral coefficients gL,gR, then gLPL+gRPR=cV−cAγ5, with cV=(gL+gR)/2 and cA=(gL−gR)/2. For one Standard Model charged lepton, (cV,cA)=(−1/4+sin2θW,−1/4); for an active neutrino, (cV,cA)=(1/4,1/4). A prefactor g/(2cosθW) instead requires doubled coefficients. Mixing these conventions creates a factor-of-four error in squared amplitudes.
