New Carbaalanes Containing Clusters of Aluminum and Carbon Atoms by Werner Uhl and others (2000)

Its abstract identifies the open carbaalane with two $C=CHPh$ groups and reports their hydroalumination during conversion to a capped aluminium cube. This establishes that the unsaturated groups are real, but the abstract alone does not establish which electron counting convention the examination intended.
