Let D be the set of finitely supported sequences with rational coordinates. It is countable: it is the union over N of copies of QN. Given α∈ℓ1,2 and ε>0, choose N with ∑j>Nj2∣αj∣<ε/2. Choose rational numbers qj for 1≤j≤N so that ∑j=1Nj2∣qj−αj∣<ε/2, and put qj=0 thereafter. Then q∈D and ∥q−α∥1,2<ε. Thus D is countable and dense, so the space is separable.
