An empty universe with Λ=0 has Ωr,0=Ωm,0=ΩΛ,0=0. The present Friedmann equation then requires Ωk,0=1, so
H(z)=H0(1+z).
(1)
The Friedmann acceleration equation gives a¨=0, hence a∝t after choosing its zero at t=0, and
q0=0.
(2)
This is the Milne universe. A larger past Hubble parameter does not require negative a¨: even constant a˙ produces H=a˙/a=1/t. Equivalently, deceleration parameter from the Hubble derivative gives q=−1−H˙/H2=−1+1=0. The age is t0=H0−1.
