Use the change of variables u=x2−y2, v=xy. Its Jacobian determinant in the first quadrant is 2(x2+y2)>0, and the inverse is uniquely determined by
x2=2u2+4v2+u,y2=2u2+4v2−u.
(1)
Both are positive for v>0, so the transformation is one-to-one on the region. It becomes the rectangle −2≤u≤4, 1≤v≤3. The integrand is uv, and x2+y2=u2+4v2. Thus
∬A(x3y−xy3)dxdy=∫13∫−242u2+4v2uvdudv=∫13v(v2+4−v2+1)dv=31313−1010−55+22.
