For real x>0, the sine integral approaches π/2. Exponential damping gives ∫0∞e−atsint/tdt=arctan(1/a), so the limiting constant follows by letting a↓0. Integration by parts of the tail gives Si(x)=π/2−cosx/x−sinx/x2+O(x−3).
