In a steady Keplerian accretion disk with Σ=Σ0R−2, ν=ν0R2, and tracer diffusivity k=ζν, the trace passive scalar concentration obeys the displayed constant-coefficient advection-diffusion equation in logarithmic radius. Contaminant mass is proportional to CdY, because 2πRσdR=2πΣ0CdY. A radial impulse C0δ(R−R0) therefore has logarithmic amplitude C0/R0 and evolves by the Gaussian heat kernel centered at lnR0−vt. The full-line solution idealizes radii far from the disk boundaries.
