Differentiating the screened-channel velocity gives xmax=d−κ−1arsinh[(coshκd−1)/(κd)]. For κd≫1, xmax≃log(κd)/κ. The outer flow declines almost linearly to the passive no-slip wall rather than forming a symmetric plug.
