Generalization of a plane for any number of dimensions.

Kind of the opposite of a line: the line has dimension 1, and the plane has dimension D-1.

In $D=2$, both happen to coincide, a boring example of an exceptional isomorphism.

Same as recursive language but in the context of the integers.

A Linear map where the image is the underlying field of the vector space, e.g. ${\mathbb{R}}^n\to \mathbb{R}$.

The set of all linear forms over a vector space forms another vector space called the dual space.
