With fixed mass and homologous scale L, adiabatic pressure obeys p∝L−3γ. Its support relative to gravitational energy scales as pL3/∣Wg∣∝L4−3γ. Pressure becomes relatively stronger on contraction for γ>4/3, weaker for γ<4/3 and has the same scaling at γ=4/3.
