The bounded-forcing norm alone cannot control the Hölder seminorm of the Hessian matrix. On a unit Euclidean ball take um=m−2sin(mx1) and fm=Δum=−sin(mx1). The derivative supremum norm ∣um∣2 and ∥fm∥∞ stay bounded, but the Hessian matrix difference between zero and π/(2m)e1 gives [D2um]α≥(2m/π)α on B1/2.
