For four equivalent nodes, two spin quasiparticles and local dispersion E2=α2q12+β2q22, one node encloses momentum area πE2/(αβ). Counting states with measure d2q/(2π)2 gives the displayed positive-excitation density. The associated clean low-temperature heat capacity is C/A=18ζ(3)kB3T2/(παβ). Electron-addition spectral density alone has a different count because its coherence weights do not count all particle and hole thermal excitations.
